The Shiawassee County Fair Grounds offers camping sites for both our Fair week Exhibitors and non-Fair events and just for that get away from the busy hustle of life. Settled right between Flint and Lansing and just minutes from the Historic Owosso and Corunna Michigan the Shiawassee County Fair Grounds is the perfect escape for any camper.

Fair Exhibitor Camping Lottery

  • Applications are handed out beginning at 8:00 AM the day of the lottery. 

  • Camping  Lottery is held in the Exhibit Building on the first Saturday of June (June 1, 2019) at 9:00 AM SHARP!! 


  • Youth exhibitors or parent of exhibitors that show beef, dairy, goats, horses, sheep, swine, poultry, and rabbits are the first numbers drawn. ( This does not include Cloverbuds with animals or dog exhibitors as the dogs are not required to stay over night. )

  • Once all those numbers have been drawn it will be opened up to other exhibitors, leaders, and advisors.

  • Youth Exhibitors must be 8-21 as of January 1st as stated in the rules in the Fair Book to qualify and must be staying with a parent or legal guardian at camp site.

General Camping

  • ​For general camping, not during Fair Week, sign up in our Office during posted office hours.

  • Campers must follow rules set down by the Shiawassee County Fair Grounds.

Shiawassee County Agricultural Society mission is to provide the best county fair possible for all residents of Shiawassee County.  This primary focus will serve as a showcase of the talents of the youth of the community by providing a means of education, exhibits, fun, and competition of various livestock and non-livestock projects in which the youth are involved.  The Shiawassee County Fair will highlight the heritage of the community and its ties to agricultural and business, that are the backbone of the community. The Society shall also host and promote non-fair events that will aid in the sustaining of the society, while keeping in focus the overall mission of the society.
