Draft Horse Program

A Tradition since 1988, The Surry Rides drawn by the gentlest of giants have been a beloved feature of the Shiawassee County Fair for families. Started by Roger Reed and Jack Crambell the tradition continues to this day. Enjoy a trip around the grounds and see the Fair while being pulled by local Draft Horse teams. Then come watch them at night at the Grandstands as these giants show off great feats of Strength and Agility.
